In this piece, a white rabbit takes refuge in some knotted tree roots for a nap. He is curled up while outside three doves and a butterfly flutter about. He is safe in his cage of tree branches, and even smiles a bit.
The sky is either sunrise or sunset, i.e. early morning or late afternoon. There are hills in the background.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
