This photo was taken in a farm field at dusk. The sun has already set, but there is still enough light afterwards to make out the patchwork of plants and trees. In fact, I was wandering around for another half hour, and it was still light! I love that.

This was taken in Saratoga County, New York at the end of October near Halloween.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
