Wedding Vase with Bouquet Canvas Print

This is a vase I made on the potter's wheel with porcelain clay. I also designed the figures in it. It is meant to be a wedding vase.

Featured flowers are a tulip, apple blossoms, two kinds of lilacs and dandelions, all Spring flowers.

The border design is meant to complement the vase. It features part of a fern leaf and bits of the colors found in the bouquet.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
