Vigilant Unicorn Canvas Print

This piece is taken from an ACEO illustration. An ACEO is an art work that is only 2.5 inches times 3.5 inches, so I drew it very, very small.

To sell a print of it here, I decided to put a border around it.

In this piece the unicorn is illuminated with moonlight. He seems awake and vigilant.

Symbolism:
the unicorn symbolizes purity, healing, the spiritual, healing sorrows and banishing poisons from life. The unicorn is especially enamored with faire maidens and is known to purify water.

moon: the feminine, mystery, intuition, dreams, the unconscious

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums.
