This is October, 2021, in a field, in Saratoga County, NY. The trees are changing color, and the grasses have turned into a heather beige. Everything looks like it is sparkling.

There is still some green in the foliage, but it disappears fast, usually in a matter of days.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
