Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Lise Winne
I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
