This piece is a leap into a more angular composition with sharp diamonds with a pillowed diamond in the center, beige lines at right angles, sometimes resembling lightening bolts or zig zag shapes, and some triangles, but with some softening here and there with round shapes, white and pink polka dots, swirls, and pillow shapes around the border with red and white stripes.
Angular hard edges symbolically usually refer to rigidity, ritualism and schedules. Soft shapes usually refer to fluidity, going with the flow, wholistic thinking.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
