Description
This photograph was taken in the early morning in Saratoga County, New York, as the dew sat on the grass, making the color of the grass rather emerald. You can see the faint reminder of the rising sun on the left side of the image.
When I fist saw the image it took my breath away; I just loved the dark brown with the emerald. The fact that it was so detailed with a lot of different kinds of plants was a plus. I am primarily a painter and I love to make detailed paintings of plants and this kind of scene fit right in with what I like to accomplish in my paintings. Nature is always the big inspiration and photography helps my paintings, and gets me out of the studio.
This photograph was taken during the Coronavirus pandemic of 20, and you would never know it when you are in nature. The birds are flying overhead, the grasses are still growing, the hares are out at night. Nothing is changing their world.
Besides prints for sale of this image, there are also puzzles and other products.
This is my own original photography.
