As you can see, I painted over it with bright inks and colored pencils.

This is part of a series featuring the same design and faces in a myriad of colors and treatments including cartooning, digital art and decor for both grown ups and children's rooms. Some designs have a tapestry-like effect, others are simple and colorful with clearly defined shapes.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
