After spending an inordinate amount of time on a millefleurs design (inspired by Renaissance design), I wanted to try some variations on that painting. This is one, and is the most modern looking one in the bunch with yellow, purple and white leaves on a black background.
I am making these designs primarily for home decor: canvas prints, tapestries, duvets, pillows and the like.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
