I made this design with symmetry in mind. It was also made in the tradition of rug makers, tile makers, and for home decor products such as bedspreads and square pillows. The bedspreads and square pillows are available in my shop.
Featured is an abstract design with a green background with yellow vines and swirls. In the center is a pink diamond, some pink leaves, a flower-type shape and other little details.
Dark green is the symbol of money, finances, banking and ambitions. Since the design contains other colors like light yellow (happiness, positive outlook, energy, optimism, honor, loyalty, and joy), pink (affection, innocent love), emerald green (balance, harmony, renewal, growth) and other colors, it carries other connotations.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
