In this piece the center diamond is pronounced, and white. It takes your attention right to it. It is complemented by the white border full of swirls and other off-shoots.
The four firebirds and greenery make shadows on the somewhat shiny gold background.
There are white berries in there amongst the greenery and red berries in the center diamond shape.
Firebirds are a mythical creature. While they are on fire, they don't necessarily burn up. In fact, if they do burn up, they transform and fly the skies again. I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums.
