When I asked the farmer why they were there, he said that he left them there for the bees, that they had to have something to eat at the end of the season. Cool!
This is a farm in Saratoga County in upstate NY. It is within a farming community.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
