This is part of the "bouquet series": http://lisewinne.net/collections/bouquet+series+and+leaf+series
It is a continuation of experimenting with a bouquet that originally started out with a white background (http://lisewinne.net/featured/dandelion-balancing-act-lise-winne.html). This is the third in the series. The second on is: http://lisewinne.net/featured/dandelion-balancing-act-with-blue-background-lise-winne.html
For this piece I went with a grid and a much darker blue background with more detail in it.
About Lise Winne
I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
