About Lise Winne

Lise Winne I have a bachelors degree in Studio Art and a masters in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12.

In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.

My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture.

I have shown my work in galleries and through juried shows at art centers and museums. Some of the more notable art centers and museums I have shown in include Delaware Art Museum, Haverford Center of the Arts, Cooperstown Art Association, Vermont State Crafts Center, Schenectady Museum, Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Center and Skidmore College for a retrospective of art scholarship recipients.

My art was also recently included in a book published by The Whitney Museum of Art.

I have also sold art world wide through the internet, including my own website, Etsy, Artfire and the Australian site, Zibbet.
