My husband and I were taking a long walk on a path on someone's property and as we turned the bend, this scene presented itself: a one room cabin in the woods. What is not so evident is that the trees were huge.
There were ferns and these delicate white flowers. It seemed like something out of a fairy tale. And when I thought about it for a minute or two, it seemed like a Hansel and Gretel house, completely pastoral, no road, no traffic noise, just the sound of an eagle overhead. So magical!
In this photo, it is late summer.
I plan on returning to take another photograph when there is some light streaming through, perhaps early morning or late afternoon, so if you are interested in this photo, come back: I may have another one ... or two ... or three.
