Celadon Vase with Christmas Bouquet Canvas Print

Featured is a hand thrown celadon vase that I threw on the potter's wheel. If you have been to my shop before, you will know that this piece is one of my less decorated forms of pottery (most of my pieces are highly decorative, and mostly figurative).

The glaze is a Chinese glaze, and fired on porcelain.

As a potter, I used to envy 2-D artists who could reproduce their art for prints. Then I came up with this idea.

I usually sell this design locally as greeting cards, however, I thought they would make nice holiday decor in the way of pillows.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums.
