This is an autumn inspired design for home decor like pillows. While there are leaf-like shapes throughout, I still consider this piece to be an abstract design (suggesting certain real life shapes, in other words). Also featured are diamonds, stripes, white dots, swirls, fan-like shapes, and a double orange border.
Blue and orange are opposite colors on the color wheel, and therefor each color pops in brightness.
Cobalt blue is a cooling color and generally symbolizes calmness and stability (and sometimes depression). Orange has the opposite meaning: instability, energy, enthusiasm, quickness. A lot of people like the interplay of these colors in their environment with one color cooling the composition down and the other one heating it up. The addition here is turquoise. Turquoise is generally the color of spirituality and honesty, and there is a little bit of that color here too.
If you want to match the cobalt with solid colors, it is: #0f78eb
To keep with the tradition of home decor without the artist's signature, I have taken my signature off for pillows, blankets, duvets and shower curtains. However, as wall decor is typically referred to as fine art, it remains there as well as some other products.
