This photo is a bit off the beaten track for me (no pun intended) as I tend to focus on fantasy art, bouquets, Renaissance inspired art and Celtic art.
But I come from the Saratoga area, and I like to shoot photos of some of the things I see close to home. This is one of those moments.
This is an altered photo in that it is not exactly as I shot it, and it has a couple of filters added on. It was also one of those times when I panned the camera so that the background was blurry and the horses were more in focus.
About Lise Winne
I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
