This tree was fashioned from clippings from my back yard, including cedar clippings, violets, apple blossoms (the white flowers) and dandelions. The trunk was made of a dried flower stem.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
