This design has been popular as greeting cards in the tourist towns where I live. Buses of leaf peepers come up from the south or from the cities to see the changing seasons, and this design has been the most popular of its kind. The cards were also purchased around Thanksgiving.

However, since starting this website, it is obvious to me that this design would also make great kitchen or diningroom art. The pillows offered here could be used in the kitchen as well, perhaps on the back rest of a kitchen chair. The totes could be for harvesting. I can also see this design as framed art in a dining facility or restaurant in the Adirondacks, the White Mountains, Vermont, rural Massachusetts and downeast Maine.

This design would also make great place mats, which I hope to offer soon.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
