For this design, I wanted something that would look like an oriental rug and to go with oriental style carpets for pillows and bedspreads (the latter two available in my shop).

I live in a section of the country where there are a lot of Victorian houses. These Victorians tend to have oriental rugs in them. A lot of the pillows out there for sale are modern designs with zig zags, watercolor woodland animals, polka dots, paisleys, and other designs that don't quite go, so many people with the old style decor resort to one-color pillows and perhaps even put fox hunting scenes or a painting of a deer in the woods on the walls. Well, here is your alternative to both.

This kind of art warms up the room.

Featured is a burgundy square design with lots of an ornate things in it, including a gold diamond shaped center, with leaves, swirls and big cornflower blue flowers (perhaps tulips). Everything is ornate, with fine detail.

Imagine a canvas print of this with matching pillows.
