Art inspired by the Renaissance, Celtic knots, fantasy art, and storybooks. I create traditional paintings, digital art and photograph knights, fair maidens, fairies, bagpipers, flowers and a few meadows too.

This is a view looking into Otter Cove, after Otter Cliffs, in Acadia National Park near the end of the trail. The ocean looks particularly blue from this angle because of all of the surrounding influencing the color of the water.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece. I have shown my work in galleries and through juried shows at art centers and museums. Some notables include The Delaware Art Museum, Haverford Center of the Arts,...

OK, that settles it. I'm on my way! LOL. I cannot believe your wonderful photos of the country you enjoy living in. So beautiful.
Lise Winne replied:
Yes, it is beautiful! One of the few coastlines left not surrounded by buildings.
