This is a view looking off to the Northwest while the sun is getting ready to set on my left. There is a large meadow in front of this lawn (you see just a bit of it here), and another meadow just beyond it.
Because of the setting sun, some of the trees look ablaze. The green lawn is shaded and it has a more pronounced look with its dark green.
This section of upstate New York in Saratoga County is noted for its rolling hills and you see an inkling of that here.
This was taken in October, the height of the leaf peeping season.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
