Artist's Description
This subtle monochromatic design of swirling philodendron leaves might be the perfect design for a book cover, a duvet, a pillow, tapestry or towel and they are all available here in my shop.
This piece features green philodendron leaves on a blue turquoise background with a swirl of darker philodendron leaves in the center.
The point here is art that is subtle, and almost abstract.
This piece might be a nice addition to a home or office where you want a canvas print on the wall and matching pillows or a duvet.
symbolism of philodendron leaves: health and abundance. Personal growth is also indicated.
symbolism of turquoise: the yin yang of calm with energy, spiritual grounding, creative energy flow.
symbolism of green: growth and harmony
symbolism of dark green: money and financial growth
About Lise Winne
I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece. I have shown my work in galleries and through juried shows at art centers and museums. Some notables include The Delaware Art Museum, Haverford Center of the Arts,...
