This was taken in the summer near Northeast Harbor, Maine on Mt. Desert Island. The ocean is visible beyond the tree. And the rolling white fog has already hit land (in the distance). The sun has rendered some of the clouds pink.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
