There are two versions of this design: one for prints, greeting cards and tote bags which have my signature, and home decor products where my signature has been removed.
I made this piece with home decor in mind. My idea for this piece was to make something that would go with a Victorian rug while not taking the attention away from that. So I though it best to create something monochromatic, keeping primarily with reds (with a little orange, a little purple and a little gray).
Reds make a house seem warmer than it is (especially if you live in a cold climate).
This piece can be mixed and matched with pillows, or a duvet, or blanket.If you are running a bed and breakfast establishment, you can even have a guestbook notebook match the decor.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
