Art inspired by the Renaissance, Celtic knots, fantasy art, and storybooks. I create traditional paintings, digital art and photograph knights, fair maidens, fairies, bagpipers, flowers and a few meadows too.
Please note that the watermark in the lower right does not appear on any ordered prints or products.
This red design only appears subdued because of its monochromatic color scheme. If it had more green in it, the red would appear much brighter. But the point of this piece is to convey the dignity of a fine oriental rug and at the same time to be floral with bright fuchsia flowers.
This piece was made for home décor, particularly pillows, duvets, blankets, wall hangings and shower curtains (which I carry in my shop), and tiles, rugs, table napkins and table cloths (which I presently do not carry in this shop, but may in the future).
If you are into old world types of interior design, then you can appreciate that this way of working for me adds to the continuation and tradition of that way of living and decorating.
In the language of flowers, any flower that is fuchsia colored is symbolic of referential respectful love, self-effacing love, love that is both passionate and self sacrificing.
