This piece was made in 2020, and was made during the Covid-19 outbreak. This outbreak is also known as the corona-virus outbreak. It was made at the end of June, as businesses started opening up, and cases started to explode. At the time I made it, I thought of it as an ominous piece. In all probability it was expression of my state of mind, though it seemed to make itself (or so it seemed). In fact when I got to the end of it, I found it hard to believe that my programs gave me this piece. It was meant to be part of a larger scheme, and to go with other art I had made, but when it got to this point (without the additions I had planned), I decided to keep it.
To me, it will always be Covid-19 art. The year is unusual and otherworldly, and so is this art (for me).
Sometimes abstract art can say things that representational art can't. And sometimes it reflects ones feelings more than the "planned art".
As far as symbolism goes, fire ball is: creation, destruction, guiding light, danger and transformation all rolled into one.
In dream symbolism it is a warning of all of that.
The symbolism for electric blue is both energy and peace. They counteract the fireball in that they are a calming color, and opposites on the color wheel. Both colors can energize, and both suppress the hunger response.
White stars usually represent inspiration, intuition, dreams.
