This is a variation of a drawing in terms of color. The other colors in this design include red, black, green and blue.

Purple is the color of royalty and fitting for a deck stacked with royal figureheads. The design was primarily made with home decor in mind: pillows, blanket covers, duvets, towels, shower curtains (all available right here in my store).

SYMBOLISM:

rules, games, the elements (wind, fire, water, and earth), the seasons, the four motives, and the struggle with various forms of opposition for victory.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
