Art inspired by the Renaissance, Celtic knots, fantasy art, and storybooks. I create traditional paintings, digital art and photograph knights, fair maidens, fairies, bagpipers, flowers and a few meadows too.

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

You will notice that this piece has some texture in it!
I made this piece with home decor in mind, particularly pillows (which I sell in this shop). For this piece the swirls are very obvious and so is the amount of detail. It is all in there together. It's an abstract design, but refers to flowers and paisleys.
The turquoise is a little more subtle than other turquoise designs I have done and there is texture throughout the turquoise color. It is actually two thirds bright turquoise and one third bright purple. Click on the full resolution preview to get a better view.
Also featured are leaves, circles with radiating spikes, and lots of pink dots.
Feel free to contact me with any questions, particularly about matching colors with this piece.
For some home decor products I have taken my signature off (right corner). All copyright laws still apply (I am the copyright owner).
I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece. I have shown my work in galleries and through juried shows at art centers and museums. Some notables include The Delaware Art Museum, Haverford Center of the Arts,...

I have just caught up wit hall your new works Lise. Just fabulous. In today's culture of Celtic design that is almost too overdone now, your designs seem, to me, a vision of a design beyond Celtic, beyond Nordic, and into a different time and civilization altogether. It resonates with me. Wonderful work.
Lise Winne replied:
Thank you, Robert! I still plan on more Celtic designs, though!
