Description
An owl hangs on a tree branch. He has on a yellow cowl with a purple button. He has brown, white and tan feathers. The background behind him is ornate with purple berries and green leaves. The leaves are in two colors, veridian green a yellow green color.
The original is small, a 4" x 6" (called an OSWOA), and is still for sale.
The piece was originally made for Etsy, which at the time, were known for featuring a lot of owls and cowls on their front page, but never together. In a way it was a spoof, and to see if I could appear on the front page (as no other artists were attempting put a cowl on an owl).
Symbolically the owl represents intuition, the ability to see beyond deceits and masks, wisdom, a sage, dreams
