Northeast Harbor is located in Maine on the opposite side of Bar Harbor on Mt. Desert Island on Route 3. It is a little harbor and has its own little village and post office. It is not as well known or as touristy as Bar Harbor, but has its own unique charm.
There are ferries that leave this harbor for Sutton Island, Big Cranberry Island and Little Cranberry Island every day.
Where I took the picture there are often Osprey flying around. They seem to be there every year.
This was taken in July with a Nikon camera.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
