I had holiday greeting cards in mind when I made this design, however, this can be used for any number of holiday products around your home including shower curtains and blankets.
Featured are pine from white pine and balsam fir. There is a little cedar in there too if you look closely. The wreath is adorned with little red berries, roses, carnations, pine cones Christmas bulbs and little lights. Inside the wreath you will find some white pine with cedar.
This piece is part of my bouquet series.

Symbolism:
* pink roses: admiration
* red carnations: deep love and affection
* pine cones: enlightenment and the third eye
* white pine: great peace
* balsam fir: resliency
* cedar: prayer, healing, dreams. Often used for its distinctive odor and healing.
* wreath: eternity
* Christmas wreath: ornamentation, circle of life, meant to hang on a door or wall.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
