Description

Featured is a chicken in a garden with a border of yellow orange flowers and blue lace-like swirls.

This was completed for an exhibit in Washington County, NY, which are peppered with farms in rolling hills, the foothills of the Green Mountains of Vermont. My focus for the exhibit was farm animals in the garden.

SYMBOLISM:

* chicken: balance of patience and action, re-evaluation, can mean self-sacrifice and maternal love. In dreams seeing chickens can mean "chickening out".
* abundance, growth, fertility, creativity, freedom from hunger
* flowers with yellow, orange and black: excitement, enthusiasm with some grounding of level-headedness and knowledge
* blue border with swirls: keeping to traditions of depth, trust, loyalty and faith
