This is a green on green design meant for home décor items such as pillows, duvets, blankets, shower curtains and maybe a matching print for the wall. It is meant to bring the outdoors and the garden indoors. It is meant to add detail and the ornate quality of plants and plant life indoors (I am a firm believer that when you spend a lot of time indoors, you need some ornate designs that mimic, in some way, the outdoors in order to feel at peace ... and hopefully green does that in some small way too).

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
