Art inspired by the Renaissance, Celtic knots, fantasy art, and storybooks. I create traditional paintings, digital art and photograph knights, fair maidens, fairies, bagpipers, flowers and a few meadows too.

This photograph was taken as the sun was setting, so the plants appear more orange than they would be if the sun was straight up in the sky.
This was taken in November and shows a lush field of weeds and goldenrod gone by. I still love how the goldenrod looks with its off white flowers and its dried up leaves. In November the landscape is often monochromatic, and the skies are more often gray. On this day I was lucky to get a blue sky to contrast nicely with all of the orange foliage below.
In November, the trees are often bare of leaves except for some oaks. This photo shows at least one tree with its leaves still on it.
This was taken in Saratoga County, New York, in a meadow with a view. The area is known for its rolling hills, farms and culture. This particular field is one of my favorite places to take a walk. There is so much to see on any given day.
The photo has a thin light blue border around it.
This is my original photography....
I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece. I have shown my work in galleries and through juried shows at art centers and museums. Some notables include The Delaware Art Museum, Haverford Center of the Arts,...
