This bird is part of The Exotic Bird Series, and like all of the works in that series, it is a completely made up bird (from my imagination).
This bird looks like it is yellow with streamers of purple and turquoise. Underneath its wings it has some feathers in the same colors. It was the fourth in the series.
This is the first time I am offering this series in larger prints and for products.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
