I hand sewed the red velvet stocking and put a bouquet of Christmas-like things in it. Sometimes nature gifts are the best presents!
In the middle of the stocking, I sewed in a heart, and then put a bell in the center of the heart.
I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
