This is a variation on, what started out to be, a black and white ink drawing that I made in a hospital waiting room. It graduated from there into a cartoon to a painting and then to a digital painting. All variations are available in my shop.

The series is meant for home decor products. Many are available here, in my shop, including pillows, towels, blankets and duvet covers.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio. My primary mediums are painting, drawing, digital art, illustrations, cartoons, hand thrown pottery and relief sculpture. If you see pottery in my photographic work, it is my own hand-thrown piece.
