This is autumn at a blueberry farm in Saratoga County, NY. The leaves on the blueberry bushes have turned red and the sun is about to go down.
The farm overlooks another farm. There are some low bushes, sumac, maple trees and some oak trees in the distance. You can see the remnants of a farm field.
After the sun goes down, it takes awhile before darkness sets in because the sky is so big over these fields.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
