Description
This pastoral scene was taken at a blueberry farm in September in Saratoga County in upstate NY (USA) near the Vermont border and very close to the Hudson River.
For the most part, the blueberries are all gone by September, but there are a few late varieties left. Some of the bushes have some wildflowers and weeds in the rows too. Although they are rarely desired (so as not to drown out the berries), they are so pretty.
This is one of my favorite places to go in September. The temperatures are moderate, and the berries are easier to pick because the sun isn't pounding on you.
The dark blue behind the trees are some mountains in the distance (or hills for those of you who live in the Alps or Rocky Mountains).
This is landscape photography.

Lise, Your New York farms are so much more beautiful and idyllic than our Midwest corn fields! Such a wonderful beautiful picture that I would like to maybe paint a version of.

Sure, you are welcome to it. Thanks for asking permission. The difference here is the rolling hills and a little further east about 20 miles is the Green Mountains.
